PokéFact: Marnie's uniform number "960" can be read in Japanese as goroawase for 苦労 kurō, meaning "hardship", or 黒 kuro, meaning "black". So “edgy” ;)

PokéFact: In both English and Japanese, Dawn shares her name with an evolutionary stone. However, it is not the same stone: her Japanese name (Hikari) is the same as the name of the Shiny Stone (Hikari Noishi), and not the Dawn Stone.
