Watched Black Sabbath (1963) the classic Italian horror anthology from maestro Mario Bava who is in top form here with a brilliant use of color and lighting throughout. Containing three stories a giallo a vampire story & a ghost story watch the Italian cut the US recut the film👍
Watched Manhattan Baby (1982) aka Eye of the Evil Dead maybe not the most coherent film but it's a pretty damn entertaining movie in my book shot well in some nice locations, some fun FX and an awesome Fabio Frizzi score to me this might be Lucio Fulci's most underrated film👍
Watched Harpoon (2019) after a bit of a tiff three 'friends' go for a day trip on their boat only to have things flare up again leading to a battle of survival. Darkly funny and pretty gruesome in parts this was a good one I thought it has a few surprising twists and turns👍
Watched Demonoid (1981) wow talk about getting told you're going to a restaurant and you end up at McDonalds where the hell was the demon with the sword? false advertising with the posters and the trailer but hey at the end of the day it was an ok evil hand possession film👍
Watched In the Mouth of Madness (1995) if it were'nt for Cigarette Burns I would say this is the last John Carpenter masterpiece a superbly crafted love letter to HP Lovecraft and a great sign of to his 'Apocalypse Trilogy'. With a great cast, score and FX it's one of JC's best👍
Watched Demonwarp (1988) the high concept Bigfoot-Fest continues! it seems Oscar winner George Kennedy had a lot of bills to pay in the 80's because he was every little B gem that came his way including this awesome little film. Pervy Bigfoot is stealing peoples radios but why?👍
Watched Children of the Damned (1964) although touted as a sequel to Village this is more of a reworking of the original story in to a sort of anti war statement by having the children being somewhat sympathetic as the army set out to control them in fear of their power👍
Watched Village of the Damned (1960) the classic sci fi horror that I think is superior to John Carpenter's remake with a great feel of paranoia and dread throughout. Based on John Wyndham's novel The Midwich Cuckoos and followed by the sequel Children of The Damned👍
Watched The Babysitter: Killer Queen (2020) not as good as the first I thought but a fun follow on from the first film going in a bit more of a comical route although I wasn't a huge fan of the ending. Years after the first film Cole can't tell if what happened to him was real👍
