Inspired by @bloodofkirby 's Kang thread just want to show some love to Mike Mignola's great Marvel artwork👌
Watched 99 and 44/100% Dead! (1974) and it was a lot of fun I thought not really like anything else in John Frankenheimer's filmography it's a very stylized almost comic book like gangster action comedy. Frankenheimer later stated that he didn't like this film which is a shame👍
Watched Ninja Scroll (1993) without a doubt one of the greatest anime films of all time from master director Yoshiaki Kawajiri. From the animation to the soundtrack to the excellent character designs this is a near flawless film. An official sequel series is in production👍
Watched Mazinger Z vs. The Great Dark General (1974) & it was glorious. This was an OVA that was to set up the Great Mazinger series from the original Mazinger Z. AKA Tranzor Z was one of my earliest memories of watching cartoons and this for fans IMO is definitely a must watch👍
Watched Ultraman: The Adventure Begins (1987) aka Ultraman USA the Hanna-Barbera co-produced animated film that was to serve as a pilot to a series that unfortunately never came to be. Not sure how Ultraman purists feel about it but I thought it was a fun film👍
Wow! H.R. Giger was contacted to design a new Batmobile for Batman Forever in 1994 not exactly sure what they were expecting?🤔😄👌
@MrJosh79 @horrorboundblog @crashpalace @CaledonianRoses @bloodofkirby @FreddysMuse @CryptMidwest @EnzosReviews Hell yes! a timeless game changer Mr Josh👍
Watched Let the Corpses Tan (2017) and it was great! a french film that is a poliziotteschi made with a Giallo & Spaghetti Western aesthetic that has so much style it's basically dripping off the screen. By directors Hélène Cattet, Bruno Forzani who are 2 directors to watch for👍
Just watched Abominable (2006) a fun homage to the B grade monster movie. It's a Bigfoot/Sasquatch movie with some great cult actors, some good practical effects and a score by Lalo Schifrin! (well the director is his son). This was a fun watch👍
