@JessiSheron This made me think of a certain manga author who refused to go to a foreign con after they objected to the whiskers on her self-portraits.
@DazzlerAOA incidentally spurred my memory of how amazing parts of Marvel Mangaverse are, like Jonatha Storm and Galactus!
@thehermeister @DazzlerAOA Not for nothing this is the best Johnny Storm.
@transnorthstar I just want his helmet look back. We don't have enough superheroes in suits like that I like it better especially now because it'd look weird as fuck.
@ligerlillie Sleeping on wet boots reminded me of this a little too quickly, but straight up, the X-Men pick a Jorts every "class." Every team.
Jorts Grey is going to fascinate me like a spellbinding cheese.
My absolute favorite bit in DC One Million, next to Sea Ape, is how excited especially the older superheroes are that in the 853rd Century, superheroes have discovered stylin new costume design tech like clasps and silkscreening.
And, I'm still as much a fan or an informed party as the "Superman is wonderful and perfect and anyone who says a bad word against any portrayal is nitpicking and I love him he's my special fictional friend how dare you Superman fought Mongul for your sins you heathen" person.
@616wandaarchive @EnchantressYeah Colleen Coover did the smartest things in the world with it, making it basically a kid's ballerina outfit and her first set of heels. Only works for young Wanda, though.
If Bleeding Cool was "concern trolling," saying this scene looks shitty, what was the excuse for the scene not being so bad? Two of the three in this scene seem pretty smarmy & I'm not sure what to do with the expression of the non-speaking third.
