There isn't anyone Peter has dated who wouldn't be great with Mary Jane Watson and vice versa.
Shining Knight with a big ol' beard is not a bad look, so it's strictly that it feels like desperate Ystin erasure that makes me **not like it**.
Ys is one of my favorite conceits/locations in the DC Universe.
@TheSpaceshipper Not even my absolute faves, but over SW or ST there's:
The Perils of the Passalong Powers, Superman #407, is a better-written Mxyzptlk comic - script by Gerry & Carla Conway - than Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow, Superman #423/Action Comics #583, which is honestly lazy about Mxy.
I can't think of probably a dozen X-Men who've been racist on-panel and I didn't like it or find it "character-expanding" once. Cyclops. Emma. Iceman. Frenzy. Magik in that movie. Kitty. Wolverine. Surge.
One of my favorite things, though, is when they can't count.
Very kind of Grant Morrison to confirm the Gentry were not a snide swipe at me, and that Zachary Zor is in fact the actual Zachary Zor and not mocking my inability to grow a beard or shoot bullets out of my eyes.
"Walter wasn't trans! It was a magic! There was a magical!"
Wanda was, once settled in, exceptionally comfortable and feeling *herself* as Wanda. And, being male-bodied again resulted in this: https://t.co/7rv0HltUi5
Mr Freeze's grief is and always has been some nonsense. He's not violent, doesn't rob or form gangs or murder people because he feels bad his wife's the dot in a level. That's why her sister is who her sister is.
Here endeth the bat-lesson.
