2.) Penny's last name is Dreadful. By the time I realised this pun was less original than I first thought, I'd grown too attached to the name. I came up with a compromise- she'd only ever be called "Penny" by other characters and her full name would be Penelope Boadicea Dreadful.

1.) Whilst I didn't start conceptualising Toil and Trouble until 2015, Josie derives from a drawing I did a year before. Sadly the original image has been lost to time, but here are some doodles from around 2015-16 which resemble the initial design. (current version on the right)
