This is a YA book, well written & in no way 'talks down' to the reader. I liked the plot & the characters were developed well. The action was good & realistic even when magic was involved. It is a coming of age story & obviously the first of a series.

Favorite kind of book. Dragons, action, character growth. Immersed quickly into this story. Getting back as soon as possible to see what happens. Thank you for a great reading experience.

@FanBooRev Hare’s debut novel is like riding a dragon. You have to hold on tight during the twist & turns, take time to stop & enjoy the breathtaking view, enjoy the soaring heights & make sure you’re not on the wrong end of that fiery breath

"One of the most captivating new books to be published for 8+ for some time . . . It made me laugh, cry and remember exactly what's so special about the time when you or your child live in hope of finding a dragon of your own" Amanda Craig The Sunday Times
