Quenelda's brother Darcy, heir to Dragonsdome prefers the pomp & ceremony of Court He cannot fly well & is irresponsible Banned from flying battledragons or battlegriffs he ignores his father's commands & choses a pedigree battlegriff The creature bolts..Quenelda to the rescue..
The long wait is over with my new print copy in hand I can finally rush out to tell all my friends to embark upon this immensely spellbinding & intelligently written series on dragons which do everything except lie around guarding useless piles of gold

This book is brillant, it combines the magic of dragons with historc female suppression. Making it a must read! I coald read this book forever. Can't wait for the next book!

...so bought this to try. Half way through I bought the next two books (in my reading time that's only a couple of hours) If you want a flight into fantasy with characters you can relate to then get this series, I do hope she finds a way to write more.
This is a great story told well and you can really get into it. I even stopped going on the computer. I love dragon books especially when they team up with humans. RIP Anne McCaffrey sob. Since she died I realised I would have to find other authors to get my fix of dragons
Found this book a couple of years ago, I may be in my 60’s but honestly this is a book for all ages. Loved it and made me want to go on to the following books in this series. Well done to Lucinda Hare, great read, an author I would strongly recommend
I have read all Dragon Whisperer books & have to say that these books are fantastic! <> could be read by children or adults as they are equally enjoyable for all, I'm just a massive kid in my thirties so I read these for myself before reading them to my nieces and nephews
This is a powerful start to an engrossing series with a new twist & a strong story arc The straightforward writing style is excellent this is not just a children's book more a book to be recommended as a good read for everybody over 7 who has wondered what dragons are really like
THE DRAGONSDOME CHRONICLES This is not a children's book. It is quite frankly a superb fantasy adventure for all ages and the film rights need to be snapped up. All I can say is 'Thank you Lucinda'. You have made an old woman feel young again even if just in my imagination.XX
