This "street creature" (Ronto), perhaps the strangest of the bunch. Don't ask what's going on with the tail. I recall pitching it as hard shell, like that pink plate like structure around the mouth. Ballpoint, colored pencil, design marker, correction fluid on copy paper. 1994
Alternate design for the Mos Eisley "street creature" -- which ultimately became the Ronto. Ballpoint pen, colored pencil, and design marker on copy paper -- 8.5" X 11" -- 1994
STAR WARS Special Edition (1997) - Mos Eisley addition - proposed street creature design (not used) - ballpoint pen, colored pencil, and design marker, on copy paper - 8.5" X 11" - 1995
@BT @thesilence Pacific Rim workstation -- it doesn't make music in the film -- however, with all the buttons, who can say?
In the beginning -- Avatar was called Project 880. This is a page from "The Vehicle bible" -- The nimble and deadly Scorpion gunship.
When working with animators on Jurassic Park, @PhilTippett made use of this posable raptor to better communicate his thoughts. One day I posed it as reference for an ILM VFX Crew T-Shirt design and snapped these Polaroids (final graphic recently posted).
Another view -- Pacific Rim -- ! -- Awesome show to be a part of all around -- !
