There's an OK subplot of Bender taking advantage of some orphans but this is at its best focusing on Leela having surgery to blend in & look like everyone else, love how Fry re-asserts his love for her by pointing out how beautiful she already is

The rest is a tour de force from Frank Welker as Nibbler literally speaks & reveals the entire backstory of his cute & constantly hungry race when giant Brains descend upon the Earth to devour it's intelligence & how everyone's fate rests with a certain delivery boy

The Birdbot Of Ice-Catraz:
A very funny episode with a fantastic ecological message - one that manages to get its message across without feeling preachy.
Absolutely love Bender abusing his position as Captain & referring to Fry as Wiggles before going full penguin

I love how it forgoes comedy in favour of heartbreaking & heartwarming character development, leading you to believe Fry was right about his family before royally pulling the rug from under you as the truth about what really happened after he disappeared is revealed

The Luck Of The Fryrish:
An absolutely brilliant episode focusing on Fry's youth with a jealous brother & a mother that didn't seem to care about him, made all the more evident when he finds a 7 leaf clover & how his life & luck took a downturn when he locked it away

On top of that great moment, theres a fun subplot of Zoidberg getting a new shell but this really steps up a gear once the Mighty Femputer appears (majestically voiced by Bea Arthur), reveals the meaning of Snu-Snu, orders the men die by it & gets very close to Bender

As for the episode, it's funny but also really sweet as Homer decides to get in shape after being humiliated during a family outing - love the slight variation to his design as he commits to the regime before getting help to climb Springfield's highest mountain
