The Cryonic Woman:
The main plot of Fry being reunited with his former girlfriend has some good moments but this is at its best with everything around it, such as Fry & Bender taking everyone for a joy ride & Bender's inappropriate shenanigans in the cryogenics building
#Futurama
The Honking:
A dose of Stephen King & Hammer Horror arrives in the city & Bender in fantastic style with this gloriously animated episode (that transformation sequence is magnificent), full of multiple nods to several horror classics & variations on iconic monsters
#Futurama
Mother's Day:
Ever wanted to know the real reason all robots have antennas & what the Professor & Mom look like naked, this hilarious & slightly adult episode reveals all when Mom celebrates her special day by unleashing her bastard robots on the population just for fun
#Futurama
Bender Gets Made:
There's a funny subplot involving Leela being blinded (Bender's fault no less) but this is at its best in the way it homages Goodfellas, as Bender joins the Robot Mafia & faced with a crisis of conscience when his friends become their next target
#Futurama
How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back:
There's a fun subplot of Fry getting 'administrated" but this belongs to Phil LaMarr as box-ticking beuracrat Hermes trying to regain his spark (he even sings) after being replaced, love the homages to Terry Gilliam's Brazil
#Futurama
A Bicyclops Built For Two:
One of Katey Sagal's former roles imprints itself on Leela in fabulous fashion in this mostly hilarious adventure, mosrly because it once again shows how much Fry loves her & one that succeeds whether you've seen Married, With Children or not
#Futurama
Put Your Head On My Shoulders:
Fry & Amy get together in more ways than one in this mostly good Valentine's episode, at its best once they become surgically attached & try dating other people without the other minding & ties into Bender's new dating agency business
#Futurama
Couple of gorgeous Planet Express art
Don't know who the artists are though
#Futurama
As well as showing that Bender really does care about more than a few things other than himself, it introduces the "Mutants" that live beneath the city & cleverly sets up something to do with Leela that's brilliantly paid off further down the series
#Futurama
Homer's Phobia:
Everybody Dance Now, because this award winning fabulous addition featuring a glorious appearance from John Waters, is one of the best depictions of equality ever produced, inciting the power of acceptance regardless of your sexuality
