It’s easy to immerse yourself into her problems.
This reads less like a fictional story and more like the diary of a loved one.
The vulnerability one feels when they assign a value to their own existence.
The insecurity it creates permeates through every scene.
I love Michiru.

Song of Saya is a great visual novel.
I really love it’s portrayal of isolation.
The idea that isolation can create dependency and how this can affect every facet of one’s life negatively.
And despite this, the love created by that dependency feels nonetheless genuine.
Haunting.
