I was trying out a new style- and experimenting with screen prints, kind of rushed it, cause I wanted to post it, hope ya’ll like it!
From this, to this, what do you think happened that made him so edgy all of the sudden
@NigelGraz Yas, this portrait. It helped me learn many things, like shading cloth, transparency, and a softer style. But something that really stuck was that it taught me that simplifying is something I REALLY need to practice more since I did over-detail this painting at some point 🫢
OKAY, BUT THE FACT THAT THIS TOOK ONLY ONE DAY AND AN HOUR TO MAKE AND IT’S THE SAME QUALITY AS THE PORTRAIT OF AVNER, THAT TOOK WEEKS, CONFIRMS THAT I COULD ACTUALLY MAKE ART LIKE THIS A LOT, I JUST PROCRASTINATE-
BUT THE THING IS I’M ALSO WORKING ON ANOTHER STORY CALLED “GUIDE ME, ALWAYS” 😭😭 and like, I made the book for the characters above first before this so like, actually, you know what, I’ll just try to do both at the same time, yeah that’s definitely a good idea

I know it’s petty but every time I look at my artworks I can’t help but cry or feel deeply upset because I see so many mistakes that could be fixed and yet I chose not to fix them, because if I did I knew I would never finish the drawing and be stuck “fixing” it
I’m trying to be the stereotypical nice chill laid back bob ross artist but like bish 🙄💅🏻 don’t think I don’t notice the fact that this banner gets more attention than this portrait on the right- I understand, it’s memey, and is therefore a masterpiece, but like COME ON 😭🥲
