The first retrospective exhibition of the marine artists Willem van de Velde the Elder (1611-1693) and his son Willem van de Velde the Younger (1633-1707) will be held @schpvrtmsm from 1 October 2021 until 27 March 2022.
From 7 Oct 2021 the exhibition Facelifts & Makeovers
@mauritshuis will share the conservation, restoration and examinations of its in-house conservation studio. Paintings on display will be from the museum's collection including works by De Hooch, Hals, Steen and Rembrandt.
