The first retrospective exhibition of the marine artists Willem van de Velde the Elder (1611-1693) and his son Willem van de Velde the Younger (1633-1707) will be held @schpvrtmsm from 1 October 2021 until 27 March 2022.

The exhibition Van Gogh and Britain opens @Tate this Wednesday until 11 August. It features paintings and drawings inspired by his time living in the UK. Works depicting Holland included scenes of Nuenen and Etten inspired by a Hobbema painting he saw at The National Gallery.
