@Hobowithahotdog The original designs got such a negative response that Warner Bros. had to redesign all of the characters for the final series, resulting in the characters having a friendlier, more heroic look.

@Kitsulie I actually did my own take on what a 2011 version of the special would be like back in 2011 (yes I am old), perhaps I'll do an updated version of that one day.
