I thought up this question because I've been rewatching Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends and some of the Bloo scenes are really hard to sit through. I couldn't help but ask myself "How come Bloo doesn't work for me, but I love Daffy whenever he's depicted as a selfish jerk?"

Writing a jerk character (who isn't a villain) can be really difficult, cause you want the character to be a jerk, but not to the point where they're unlikable.

Who are some of your favorite jerk characters and why do you consider them likable?

One detail about Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends I've only noticed upon recent rewatches; there is a WHOLE lot of Comic Sans.
