It recently occurred to me that I missed Betty Boop's 90th anniversary a few days ago (There are way too many anniversaries this year). To make up for missing it here's a pic of Betty and Bimbo I drew back in 2018.

I'm heading off on vacation tomorrow (don't worry, I'm not going to a theme park or anywhere superpopulated). I'll still take time to work on art and commissions, but for most of my time, I'll be taking it easy, relaxing and taking time to enjoy myself.

When I think of what the name "Nicktoon" really means to me, it means a brand of cartoons that are willing to take risks, to be bold and different. There's still that spark left in the brand, but lately, there's been less emphasis on it. (5/6)

Nickelodeon inspired this change, but as time gone has gone on, they've produced less and less original material to the point where they're spending a good chunk of their money on buying pre-existing properties and making spin-offs of ones they already have. (4/6)

Another example of imaginary friends being forced into slavery. In this episode Bloo signs a contract with a producer and he not only refuses to let him go home, but works him to the bone all day, doesn't feed him, and locks him in a cage when filming is done.

People don't remember it now, but there was a period in the early 2000s when Cheese was everywhere on Cartoon Network. To the point where he was practically the company mascot at one point.

For some reason, people couldn't get enough of him.
