Writing a jerk character (who isn't a villain) can be really difficult, cause you want the character to be a jerk, but not to the point where they're unlikable.

Rewatched this episode today, and I realized this was basically my first exposure to yandere.
The one thing I have 100% praise for is the animation. This might be the most gorgeous Blue Sky film of the bunch. Somehow Blue Sky has the most fluid CGI animation out of all the studios. The way they make the characters do exaggerated poses is unbelievable.
