There's a Fighting-type co-op event happening in Pokemon Masters right now, which means it's the best time to form triple Wally teams!
How do you think Wally got his Talonflame?
He most likely traded for it, but I'd like to think he traveled all the way to Kalos just to complete his team.
He already had plans to go there anyway!

If I could choose what would fill in the remaining four types...
Froslass can be the Ice and Ghost type. It'd be nice to see Wally with the other Dawn Stone evolution!
Dwebble can be the Bug and Rock type. The whole carving its shell image fits Wally!

Or we can just go with a mix of both designs with his EX outfit in Pokemon Masters!

Which of Wally's two game designs do you prefer?
While I'm more used to the ORAS design, there's a certain charm to his RSE design! The white suits him more too IMO!
(And yes, this post was inspired by a certain rival getting his classic design in Pokemon Masters hahaha)
Wally's Japanese voice actor in Pokemon Masters is Ayumu Murase, which means he shares a VA with a LOT of video game characters!
Among other Nintendo titles alone, he has the same VA as Gordin and Soren from the Fire Emblem series and Corvin from Xenoblade Chronicles 2!
Interestingly, one of the very few official art where we see Wally with a Pokemon other than the Ralts line is with Swablu.
Since his Ralts had already evolved to Kirlia by then though, this must be further along his journey!

Which of the rest of his initial team do you think Wally caught first?
I don't think it'd be Altaria as it's not available around Verdanturf Town. Maybe Roselia since it's next to the town? Or Delcatty since it's across Rusturf Tunnel?

(4/5) You can even find the evolution imagery in his cards in the TCG! I don't think it's a coincidence that the cards named after Wally let you evolve a Pokemon. It really ties the mechanic to his character!
(3/5) You can also see it in-game in ORAS. He has a different opening battle animation from when you first battle him in Mauville to when you next battle him in Victory Road. It really shows how much he's grown as a trainer in between the two battles!
