Wonder Woman #5 expands the original Mars’ wardrobe once again with a darling silver and orange number with a poofy little skirt.

An Ares a Day to Keep the Amazons Away
Day 7: Mars, tucked snug in bed, is awoken by one of his spies. Unlike me however, he is all too happy to get out of bed and get some work done!!

80 years ago, on a day in (probably) July 1942, Wonder Woman #1 was released to world. Within was revealed the ancient history of the Amazons, and more importantly, it was the very first appearance of Ares, the Olympian God of War, in the world of Wonder Woman.
@godsandmortaIs Yeah, it’s kind of blink and you miss it, but you can see the two of them escape (as dogs) when Diana defeats them in Year One
@godsandmortaIs It’s Phobos and Deimos in disguise as Ares, so while it purposely does look like Ares it…isn’t 😅
It’d be amazing I stg I’d kill it, let me write the Wonder Woman animated series I already have a full plan. It’d be so good I know it will, I’m not sure of many things about myself but this is not one of them—I am certain that I could write an awesome Wonder Woman. https://t.co/Z6J2PRpl3p
WHAT THE HELL???? NAOMI DOESN’T WEAR SHOES IN HER HERO FIT?!?? https://t.co/DuBWrhD0l4
@HalcyonTraveler @questionposting @_Godotto It was the run right before JL #75 with Hippolyta and Black Adam and Naomi and them. Very few people talked about it and those who did rarely had good things to say about it 😭 I hadn’t even realized the JL/Legion story had already come out
Mm…uuhhhh…aaahhhhh…hmmmmmm…well…I mean…it’s not the worst design ever…I don’t hate it…it’s just complicated and over designed to all hell…there’s just a lot going on https://t.co/2qncBUjJvO
