A bunch of notes! Slowly working on a guide that will eventually make sense…

Two friends of mine had to send their beloved little birds over the rainbow bridge recently so I painted these as thanks for all the joy they brought whenever I heard about them or saw them! Tribble the white backed mousebird and Piccolo the budgie!

Some more small Venastrix themed scribbles and paints! In one of the worlds they exist in there’s a group (Fellreavers) that work/live/hunt with bands of nomadic orks who ride terrestrial dragon horse pig cow things. Then there’s one foraging on a reef and some wing doodles.

Some tiny dragon paintings; they’re about 5 or 6” wide and are mostly idle experimenting or just… distracting my brain, really.

This took about 4-5 hours and still didn’t come out how I wanted but maybe next time I should use actual watercolour paper instead of mixed media. Taking a photo at 4am isn’t exactly a bright idea either as it distorts the colours. BUT HAVE IT ANYWAY.

Some recent dragon doodles from the past couple of weeks; trying to push more actual ‘pieces’ than Dragon Design Staring Right but yknow sometimes your brain refuses to let you focus.

This is really not the best creatively (I basically glued horns to a small brown bird) but I tried to push my pencil and watercolour rendering. (Only for it to fall short of the mark). TOMORROW WILL BE BETTER. Have a wip too.

These are Poffins; one day my brain blenderised an oviraptor and a jerboa and these fell out.
