Day 5!! Another not so creative dragon but you cannot deny Adélie penguins are just… perfectly shaped little horrors. (Seriously don’t look into how they behave it’s a nightmare). Snoot for scale.

I am SO BEHIND on Combo Smauviangust but have an underpainted ‘I’iwi dragon! I thought about adding jewellery but figured this dragon, emblematic of Hawaiian native fauna and how much of has been lost, was a treasure in and of itself. All of these are small paintings!

I don’t usually draw wrinkly dragons but I watched a video on Anteosaurus and my brain said THATS A DRAGON FACE and so I made it one. Kind of.

This is really not the best creatively (I basically glued horns to a small brown bird) but I tried to push my pencil and watercolour rendering. (Only for it to fall short of the mark). TOMORROW WILL BE BETTER. Have a wip too.

These are Poffins; one day my brain blenderised an oviraptor and a jerboa and these fell out.

While I seldom finish a piece of any real substance my sketchbooks are littered with all manner of sketches and doodles and ideas. I draw far, far less than I used to though and it feels a little sad.
