For #MapMonday we have PM 226, a plan of Aldwick, Bognor and Felpham dating from around 1937, when a proposed bypass was in the works. The map features specific sites that a tourist may be interested in, such as Cragiwell House 🏠 or - more importantly - the bowls green. 🏐
#Archive30 Here is your yearly reminder that #Stoolball is a brilliant #sport which originated in Sussex! It is likely a forerunner to #cricket and was being played as early as the 15th century. It has a long history of women's teams, such as this Fittleworth team from c1900. 🤘
