Another solid Mountain Goats album. As ever there's some wonderful songwriting on display here.

#54 - 'Morbid Stuff' by PUP (2019)

Another PUP album and yeah, this is another really solid one. Shocking no-one, I know.

Highlight: Bare Hands

Finally got around to adding a couple of new emotes to the Twitch channel (along with all new subscriber badges), only took me like a solid year of saying I'll do it!

#43 - 'Salt the Lands' by Beat The Red Light (2011)

All I need to say about this album is that its store page says it is recommended for fans of Slayer and The Slackers. For those that are always disappointed when their metal doesn't have a horn section (me)

#33 - 'Swim Out Past The Breakers' by Telethon (2021)

Finally the YouTube algorithm randomly brought me something neat! Fun and bouncy pop-punk that gives me big Jeff Rosenstock vibes. Genuinely great.

Highlight: I can't choose, the whole thing is just really fucking good!

Writing a review of Deluxe Cyberverse Slug and was reminded of this wonderful exchange from one of the comics I have actually read.

#24 - 'Kill Punk Rock Stars' by The Fad (2008)

Another from the 'I've always meant to check it out' pile. Kinda shocked I never did listen to this album when it came out since this is very much like a lot of stuff I was listening to back then. S'good!

Highlight: Vinyl Paradise

#19 - 'End of Existence' by The Browning (2021, recommended by Kirioth)

You know when you listen to the Doom 2016 soundtrack and go 'I want to hear more stuff like this'? This is the sort of album you're after. Good stuff.
