And that's it! (another shortie-pie 😊)
My fav page is the 1st one of this set. I think it's v. important for people to feel that frameworks like these can be used in whatever way is most helpful for them, as the experts in themselves.
Both parts are available on the Instagram as nice easy-to-read single uploads:
- Part 1 https://t.co/juJkNTQhO5
- Part 2 https://t.co/A7H9HqfULW
I finished part 2 of my 4-part comic describing stress responses with ice cream! Food analogies = best analogies? 🤔😋
As with part 1, our jumping off point is Dan Siegel's 'Window of Tolerance' (1999).
✨Floof!✨
(still having fun colouring up these old animal doodles from 2019 😁)
Side 1 of the country boards from Keyper (the flippy boards!), with and without graphics.
The whole thing can be read all at once over on the Practical Mindfulness Instagram -> https://t.co/gqLztAxUt4
(might be a bit easier than reading it scattered over tweets)
PDF is also available, just message me :)
I was introduced to a similar 3-layer concept of too little to too much energy while doing the 8-week MBSR (mindfulness-based stress reduction) course, but read further about it in David A. Treleaven' "Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness" (2018).
New comic! This is part one of a 4-parter playing with my shorthand for Dan Siegel's 'Window of Tolerance' (1999).
#mindfulness #stress
New comic tomorrow!
(I liked the way the intermission image for the Instagram came out this time)
