Drawing moth chrysalis this morning, or is it chrysaliss? I often find these in the soil, yesterday whilst weeding. Remember being intrigued by these as a child, still am, like cuckoo pint plants they seem rather exotic and interesting. Wonderfully sculptural.

Drawing Minotaurs today, considering making a hand puppet to support the first year project. For a long time I’ve considered classical myth and monster puppets, inspired perhaps by Harryhausen & my father’s books on ancient Greece.
