I'm just thinking about NMS pterosaur - I love how some pterosaurs are nicely preserved with wings neatly tucked, and some look like they've been taken out of washing machine and driven over by 4x4 truck.
There is a lot of pterosaur remains in famed Jurassic Morrison Formation - but only few can be confidently assigned species or position in pterosaur phylogeny. Here's doodle of first confidently classified - and as of yet unnamed - Rhamphorhychnid from SVP 2020.
New pterosaur! Arguably "probing", tiny, long-billed azdrachid (?) that lived in rivers of middle Cretaceous Morocco.
Got neat question by @albertonykus. Good news, I'm indeed creating video scicomm content & currently saving to buy a better computer, as my current struggles with work load. I've also enormous problem, I talk fast & have strong accent & probably will need to hire a voice actor.
I just hit THREE THOUSAND followers! And this celebration coincides with #PortfolioDay! Hello there, my name's Natalia and I'm a pterosaur researcher full time and artist part time. I draw prehistoric life, sciart, landscapes & characters.
@VictoriaArbour I am describing a new pterosaur from Scotland, large 3D skeleton from Jurassic (I know, really exciting anomaly). Heaps of new palaeoart inside. And first official look at lovely, unique specimen - along with few words on endocasts & pterosaur scansoriality. 👉👈
@R_Dart The art direction & character design did struck a cord with many people, me included. You've absolutely nailed it! I did unhealthy amount of MLP related artwork years ago, there was something extremely friendly & approachable in the art style which just begged for emulation.
I know no one really cares. But here're my character doodles for a fan project I do when I want to destress & unwind from work. Plus practice screenwriting, design, boarding and such for portfolio & practice. It's a lot of fun; I am unsure I'll ever release it publicly.
