I miss the crazy ass designs and pop-up world of Gowcaizer and miss the industrial and grim future world of Virus Buster Serge. And they were both based on video games no lies.
@Cacophanus Ok,speaking of Tekkaman. It was dubbed into English thanks to Saban Productions which gave us MMPR and unlike MMPR,this dub actually kept the darkness of the show but added in a few changes.
One thing to note. Paul Schrier known for Bulk,voices Tekkaman Evil. Yeah..

Though the royal trimmings seem to be a trait of Go Nonaka. Notice the gold scribblings as well as the black scribblings.

Well there was this ver. of Zakaal by Go Nonaka (responsible for Zyuranger/MMPR Season 1 designs and yes,including the mechas) back in the days of 80's Newtype.
