There's a bunch of TF references as well as callbacks to other stuff like Machine Robo. The combo between Machine Helico and Machine Jetter is a nod to the Double Machine Robo/Combinators.

They even gave room for mecha fights instead of the mix an'..

Yeah,Obari's style does evolve throughout the years but no doubt,he made the best version Mai's ever been.

@180223 Not to mention,Kamen Rider Taisen GP (I know its SHT GP but it only has 1 Sentai team in the whole movie) has a Rider Robo of its own which was the best part of the movie tbh.

Oh and there's also the Sagarc which Kamen Rider Saga uses if it counts as one.
