Just for fun, check out our ooold Zabu characters that we never tweeted about (because... Twitter did not exist back then).

The whole Zabu crew has gone through head reduction surgery and a fresh coat of paint (top: old, bottom: new). The new sprites are not animated yet but comply with #megadrive color limitations, possibly opening the door to a Blast Processing enabled remake someday. One can dream.

I (Stifu) have grown as a pixel artist since we started Zabuyaki back in 2016. It's both a blessing and a curse. I just tried remaking Rick's sprite from scratch. Left: old, right: new. I kinda want to redraw everything. I'll never finish anything, ever. #pixelart #ドット

Ever since we started Zabuyaki, we have redesigned our heroine, Kisa, many times (taking advantage of the fact she is not animated yet, so those changes are cheap). I like her current head and stance, but am still unhappy with her clothes (current = A). Trying new clothes...
