Finally got round to finishing the piece I started at the IMC. 'To Dance in the Wildflowers' is something a little different for me, deeply personal and a chance to dabble with oils again, which I'm very much enjoying.

Today's #maysketchaday kinda fell out the stylus. I always like the final result when that happens. Today's subject is the decidedly deadpan reception you get busting in unannounced on Cara, Kalam's longest-serving courtesan. From my #thewhalergirl project, as always :)

Been away the past couple of days, visiting family, but here are a couple more #maysketchaday pieces! Still northern UK/Iceland inspired Varlsbeyn at the moment, but branching into environment stuff. Feels harder for me to be expressive with environment stuff, but it`s fun :D
