I really like how this is turning out so far, the chest was in a rough state but I think it's coming together.
Some more progress. I'm using the MG 2.0 for reference but once I've got everything blocked out I'll be adjusting the proportions to match the original lineart/OVA animation.
Switching to render mode and seeing the dramatic lighting gave me an idea for an animation once I'm done with this.
I finally found the motivation to start practising modeling in Blender.
