Taking Sonic and Tail’s fallout from Archie for example, they actually took the time to push it long enough to not feel like a rushed thing.

Just allow some characters to show strength and capabilities through weapons. Not everyone needs to be just as physically fast and strong as Sonic and Knuckles. That’s what builds uniqueness.

I’d be lying if I said that Scourge doesn’t have an interesting concept

He’s more than just a basic uncreative recolor, he’s Sonic if he somehow becomes the WORSE version of himself. I like it,

I have mixed feelings about this arc between them.

One side of me is like “Okay, so that’s different. I like it because it’s normal for brothers to fight sometimes”, while other half is like-

“gee, this is kinda weird and Sonic was being such a jerk.”

I gotta say concept wise, Scourge clears. But design and ability wise, Surge clears.

Hope people know that Rouge wasn’t designed “sexy” for no reason.

Her design and mannerisms were supposed to contrast to Knuckles masculine, rougher nature. He’s also stated to be shy around women, which makes Rouge more of a tense challenge lol.

Could IDW do something with Blaze’s prototype design?

Looks like it could be an entirely different character, or a form of Blaze.
