Post-Wave Sally was never a “downgrade” btw. Because it wouldn’t make sense for her to be the *only* female Sonic character without clothes. Plus the new outfit matches her more anyway.

Despite her crush on Knuckles, I like how she often challenges/encourages him to do, or react better. She’s never been scared to confront him and give her input. But of course, out of care.

I think Topaz is the closest one she could actually get personal with and you could find them spending time together outside of work.

(I do miss their dynamic)

What I meant by “Rouge and Shadow don’t really vibe on a personal level, they work better as comrades” is that you don’t find them hanging out outside of missions.

They care about each other, but I don’t think she could really vibe with Shadow outside of teamwork.

Rouge would make the worse parent 💀

Like yeah, she gets praised by the general fanbase while having little screentime and detail compared to everyone else, but I don’t see people going crazy for her.

Guess we’re never seeing them again….
