This is more a general fact about New Arijave than Lancer himself, but because everyone in Lancers world are toons, they all 'bleed' brightly colored ink.

One of Lancers biggest fears is that he'll continue to inflate and expand as time goes on, faster than he can keep in control, until he can no longer ride like he used to.

He's seen a fellow biker suffer such a fate.
