+ while the other idols have headpieces they’re not comparable to Marina and her headphones
-C&M’s headpieces are from their childhood and can be momentos
-Pearl’s crown is seen to be broken and (eventually) replaced meaning there isnt a very strong attachment to it
+ this could be bc she most likely made them herself, we do not see Marina wearing these headphones after she got to the surface while she was younger, which could be way Marina is so comforted by them
6)Marina is very rarely seen w/o her headphones, which could be her “comfort object” and the very few instences of her w/o them could be Marina trying to make herself less emotionally dependent on them +
Honestly the only thing I want from Splatoon 3 is for Marina to have a break, she is TIRED 😭
