Earlier this week, I saw a news article about an old Japanese gaming magazine back in the 80s that "mistakenly" depicted Link as a girl. And a redhead, no less. Made me want to draw my own version of a redheaded, female Link.

My sister got me a set of Copic markers for Christmas last year. For their trial run, I decided to draw her favorite Pokemon, Mewtwo. With that, here's my first artwork of 2019!

I really like Zelda's design in Smash Ultimate. She's so darn cute, I just had to draw her.

I shared these drawings at a personal development class I was attending. I used them as an example as to what a concept artist's job is and the character design process.
