I went to see the new Pacific Rim this past Friday. Absolutely loved it. Before I went to see it, I started sketching out this kaiju and finished him just today. With the hammer on his tail, I decided to call him Mjolnir.

These are designs for Sigrid's caretaker, Albert Moreau. Initially, I went for a more distinguished, businessman-like design. The second rougher, grittier design is a better fit for the themes and tones I'm going for with this concept.

Some more designs of Sigrid. I wanted to make her look like more of a sleipnir poacher this time around. The first design was too Monster Hunter-y and medieval, so I cut back on the armor and gave her a cool jacket instead.

I recently replayed Fire Emblem Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. After having finished both of them, I decided to draw one of my favorite characters from these games, Jill Fizzart.

This is a sleipnir, an eight-legged bug-dragon creature I've been working on for the past week or so. It is somewhat inspired by the horse of Norse myth, but all it directly shares is the name and the eight legs.

I decided I'd partake in this Mer-May business. I decided to make mine more of a seahorse than a fish.
