The best way I can describe Xenosaga II is... It's like someone spending hours baking you a beautiful loaf of bread - measuring, kneading, proving, baking - and then garnishing it with dead flies because it "needed" a novel twist. Oh and the loaf weighs 400kg, b/c more is more.

@necrosofty Oh, sorry! This is Xenosaga Episode II! It can be absolutely stunning when it wants to be:

Xenosaga II: You know what's amazing? These ES suits. They can do basically anything we need them to whenever we want, including things the game/its characters have established are impossible for them to do.
Xenosaga II: When you use an ES suit it's just a big metal person.

(And when it's followed up by SPACEBIKEMECH it's impossible not to smile anyway)
