IDK if I ever posted my Flash Gordon comic strip — I had a lot of fun working on this trippy thing during the height of the pandemic last summer.
My favorite cartooning principle has to be squash n stretch — I love pushing shapes and just letting my pen go bananas as I sketch out expressions & poses.
Cartooning is so freeing 😩 Can’t draw perfect anatomy? Fuck it, no bones necessary — just draw and have fun!
16. I’m not handling burnout well. At all.
I get really debilitating autistic burnout just trying to keep up with a neurotypical world.
And I suffer artistic burnout when trauma, deadlines, or financial desperation trigger manic episodes, where I create nonstop for days.

I don’t really do a lot of fan art, and most of my comics are autobiographical, but I’m learning the joys of creating OCs and the value of drawing fan art.

My first comic is just an observation of mine of others experiencing me, a person who can be a little too literal & factual for folks.
And my latest is a (WIP) page from my upcoming webcomic about teenage dungeon crawling & proving parents wrong!
