@SanekoGato Here is some drawings I scanned from an obscure Sonic 2 strategy guide
Tried it out and it turned out ok I think. I’m not that great at doing this yet since I’m not entirely familiar with painting physically on paper.
I’ll keep practicing when I get the free time, for now I’m going back to exams and study hell lol https://t.co/ndVOV89FGG
Can’t believe the final smash direct is tomorrow... hope he gets in......
Security system TAKES CONTROL OF EGGMAN’S HOUSE and begins ATTACKING THE CITY. Leaving the president to give Eggman community service for the damage he caused. EVEN THOUGH Sonic and Tails were in his house the WHOLE FUCKING TIME

This was another big thing to me since I got better at replicating the classic Sonic shading and the Sonic Jam JP box art, though I can definitely still improve at the shading (and will!)
I feel it’s also important to add that the model doesn’t emote during gameplay at all unlike the ps1 games. It always has the exact same smile in every situation which is boring. Another thing to note is how the box art has an arguably better model with its own set of issues
and jaw that makes Crash recognisable
Finally, for Crash, you gotta keep it loose and cartoony. Its hard baked into the essence of the character and it makes it hard to make it look right when you completely abandon that crucial stepping stone to making the design work
