einarr, born 984 AD. he grew up with a mother and a father, two older half-brothers, as well as grandmas from both sides, and a bunch of animals, all in a longhouse. his childhood was okay!! liked creating small objects and running into the forest. liked hearing stories. you know

bat, 1727. southeast-asian mixed child, born at sea by queer pirates fleeing the system, and raised by even more pirates. basically grew up with violence, blood and crime as v normal things, einarr's presence didn't help either.
this was no place for a child at all, so uh. oops??

also the eldest brother in a family of 5, and the weird cursed child who's just been a vampire the entire time somehow. nobody knows why.
to protect him, his parents basically told him to hide the vampirism as much as possible.
