The next few are a series I played around with in 2008 called-

“Pisiskow Acahkwak”

Each painting leads into the next & together they complete a round. Tbh, I could have made it an ongoing series but sometimes a work is done when it’s done.

This one is

“Wapakosis - Mouse”

This piece is about new seasons, transition, transformation.

Some Peoples believed that without the intentional singing, dancing and ceremony of bringing about these changes, the world would become imbalanced and out of cycle. If they didn’t honour life, life would cease.

The kids just watched Nausicaa of The Valley of the Wind.

They have so many amazing questions now.
