It's #BatAppreciationDay! Here's Gomez and little Wednesday with some friends 🖤🦇🖤

Dance with the Devil 🖤💔

I've drawn a lot of flying creatures over the years! Bats, ravens, and owls all show up often folklore and legends from around the world. They are symbols of mysticism, they're familiars, harbingers of death and doom, and associated with the macabre (everything I'm into!) 🖤🦇

Through the Black Wood 🕸

"When the cat reached the house it domesticated itself at once, and became immediately a great favorite with my wife..." 🐾🖤 Edgar Allan Poe's "The Black Cat"

Here's the very messy 2019 sketch and the 2013 painting! I drew over the 2013 piece with a light table, and then reworked the features I needed to fix (gave her a late 1850's dress and era-appropriate hairstyle, updated the goblin design, drew a background, etc)

Happy #WorldBookDay! 📕🌹

An Unlikely Guest 🌹
The next piece(s) in my "Beauty and the Beast" series for @MonthofLove

I’m super late with this year’s @MonthofLove but this week’s prompt is “Beauty”, so here’s Beauty and her Beast (and a goblin!) They’re a happy little family 🖤
