I spent much of 2018 illustrating @Sashagraham's #DarkWoodTarot, so here are a few of my favorite cards from the Minor Arcana 🖤
This deck will be available in June 2020 from @LlewellynBooks!
My last personal piece of the year 🌹 The step-by-step process of this illustration and the rest of my storytelling techniques workshop are in the February issue of @imaginefx! Grab your copy here: https://t.co/LKw5lYLf93
I totally forgot about this! She was an "I need to force myself to draw something because I've been on the couch with the flu for two weeks" warmup I made a while back! I still like it 🥀✨
Happy #FolkloreThursday! I wanted to share one of the traditions from here in Italy: La Befana! 🌙 She arrives on January 5th, and leaves candy in the stockings of good children. In many city centers, large wicker Befana puppets are set on fire to symbolize the end of the year.
Here are some other Krampus pieces from previous years ❄️ I really need to come up with a story for these two
Mary and her creation ⚡️ Today's #Drawlloween prompt is Mary Shelley! This year is the 200th anniversary of her 1818 novel, "Frankenstein; or The Modern Prometheus" which she wrote at just eighteen years old! #Frankenstein200 @frankenreads
Another "Beauty and the Beast" piece for today's #Drawlloween "Dark Forest" prompt! 🍂
It's not Halloween without summoning a few demons to party with! 👹 I'm taking a couple days off this weekend, so I'm combining the next two #Drawlloween prompts, "seance" and "serpent" 🕯️🐍🕯️
Today's #Drawlloween prompt is: Goblin! I drew another scene from my "Beauty and the Beast" retelling (in my version, the monster's mansion is full of goblins) and one goblin in particular likes to follow the new guest around and keep her company 💚
