I love original painted backgrounds! The level of detail, especially in the older movies and shorts, is astounding!

I always loved the travelogue/zoo tour cartoons Warner Bros used to make in the later 30's and early 40's, and this gag is one of my favorites.

Started drawing a Ding-Dong and it turned into a sad bachelor dog man thing.

Or a cross between Pim from the Felix the Cat movie and that old creepy mouse from Rango.
