1) My favorite piece of animation of all time of one of my favorite animated characters, by Milt Kahl:
Much like how people thought the obvious "D" in Disney was somehow something else, as a kid I thought the obvious Tawna icon from Crash Bandicoot was the face of an evil cave weasel thing who I assumed was a character/boss that would appear later in the game.
Think of it this way, in the SAME CARTOON, Bugs goes from this to this to this to this! The model changes and fluctuates a lot from animator to animator, director to director. Almost EVERY cartoon is like this. If nobody gave two shits 75 years ago, why care now?
Aren't you glad that we've gotten past the point of making cartoons about changing flat tires?
