Here's a rare instance of a paleomeme that can be absolutely dated. Man, 2016 was a wild year.
Something that has been on mind ever since my first #AnimalCrossing game: what if Tom Nook was patterned a bit more like an actual tanuki? Just a quick experiment to see if it could work.
"She sells Shoal Shells by the seashore."
With the new Pokémon region being inspired by the U.K., Game freak had every opportunity to create a Mary Anning-inspired PkMn Trainer. They did not take it.
(Base used was Glacia's OR/AS artwork, with some minor modifications) #Pokemon
Decided to test out the new drawing tablet and revamp my Fossil Fighters-inspired Asfaltovenator created during a draw session with @ColinM_Art. Pretty pleased with both the results and the tablet itself.
Another day, another ‘fun’ rant from my YEC coworker.
“Embryonics is a farce.” “The fossil record as it is portrayed doesn’t exist.” “*something something* polystrate trees...” ... How am I even supposed to deal with this?
@mwitte7612 I totally agree. Fossil Fighters: Champions has you covered. 😉 It introduced three(!) ammonites in the game: Gaudryceras, Pachydesmoceras, and Parapuzosia. Pokémon needs to get with the times.
FINALLY. MY TIME HAS COME.
Apparently #MSPaintYourScience is a thing. Fortunately for me (and unfortunately for others), MS Paint is my preferred medium.
Here are a few pieces. These aren't necessarily the best-looking ones, just the least 'memey/'cringy.
Well, it's a few hours late, but here's the end result of a fun little #NationalDinosaurDay collaboration between @ColinM_Art (the brilliant coloring) and myself (the lineart): a festive Balaur bondoc. I forgot the tail feather rachises, but the fantastic coloring made up for it!
