i feel like i share so much of my work anyway but then i go through just one (1) folder and suddenly... i realise JUST how many WIP projects i have at any point

first time seeing the #AnimalArtistsUnite hashtag!! i'm kingsley. i draw animals and make merch of animals. i especially like birds, fish, and bugs! i'm also an apprenticing tattoo artist. 💉

btw ive said it before, but setting a grey or light tan background when working digitally can save you some eye strain as an artist 👁

that's why i set my default canvas on clip studio paint to be this grey, or a set neutral bg when painting bigger pieces

traced my own art to do a lineart version of a digital painting for some reason. i legitimately forgot why i was doing this but whenever i remember why? i'm set.

sometimes i like that IG gives me an opportunity to do these weird painting + close up crops on pieces... they tend to crop better on twitter, too. 🤔

my lucky cat's favourite toy is an arowana... which is generally seen as auspicious.... so i wanted to draw a lucky cat with a lucky fish!

(technically the luckiest bobtails are tricoloured... and he's got a darker orange patch for some reason, so he's extra lucky)

some cake gore... i'm a hemophiliac so i guess kivz would be too! so enjoy some lovely fruit-filled kivz cake with a berry lava.
