Just a little mixed media landscape sketch I made at the end of last year. I’m not a massive fan of doing very detailed landscape painting myself, so I quite enjoyed roughing out this piece with all it’s vibrant colours.

These 3 were done in the same #lifedrawing session. The first is from a pose that was an hour, the second was 20 mins and the last was 5 mins. The first piece definitely gives me Charles Dickens/ Victorian Streets of London vibes!

This is the 2nd piece I created in this style, but this time trying to use negative space. It’s not particularly forgiving! I really enjoyed playing with the colours in the layering process.
